when you nervously sit at the edge of your seat, sick to your stomach, shivering with scare. and then the person you're there to see shows up and smiles and you smile back and think 'dear lord, get me out of here' but then they sit down and you take a deep-seated breath and start talking. your heart beats slow and you catch yourself smiling whilst speaking. and this is clear sailing. you get along so well, so swell. you have so much in common. you think for a second. were you separated at birth? you're so polar opposite that you must have met at the other side of existance. the past is pushing up daisies and it's getting late. I have to go home and you have to go home. but this is home now. so we don't have to be anywhere for a while.
